TNYCFair is a student’s door into challenging scientific research and engineering design, exciting Fair Day experiences, awards and state, national and international advancements.
WHO: | Serving public, private and home-schooled students in grades 5-12 from Clinton, Essex, Franklin and St. Lawrence counties in New York State. Note: Younger students can qualify using our math placement tool. |

WHEN: | Preliminary round will start virtually in February. We expect the Finals Round will be held in-person in March. |
WHERE: | Preliminary round will be virtual. Finals Round will be held NYU Tandon School of Engineering. |
REGISTER: | Register online by December 20 A registration guide is available at the registration portal. Registration fee is $30 |
THE PLAN: | Our virtual preliminary round will provide a two-week window for an asynchronous judging based on recorded presentation and paperwork. The finals round will be in-person over two days. When all judging results have been tabulated, the Fair will host virtual Public Viewing with an opportunity for parents, teachers and other guests to see, read and hear about every project. We will also host a virtual Awards Ceremony for the public in which all honors, prizes and advancements are announced. The Fair will mail certificates and other tangibles to each student’s home address. |
