Grand Awards offered at all four Terra Fairs:


One Semifinalist receives a $500 Scholarship; the mentoring teacher receives $100. Students compete for Ying Scholars Finals for scholarship awards.


Students who have won an award at a Terra Fair may submit their work to the International Journal of High School Research for review and free publication.

Genius Olympiad

Up to two projects (up to two students per project) advance for a week in Oswego with 1400 participants from 69+ countries and adventures such as a field trip to Niagara Falls and an International Culture Celebration night. Terra covers registration fees and provides housing and meals for students.

Intel ISEF

One project (up to three students) from each Terra Fair advances to Intel ISEF for a week in Phoenix, AZ with 1700 students from 75+ countries competing for over $4 million awards and scholarships. Terra covers all registration and travel expenses for students.
