Advancements

Terra Fairs advance their top high school students to the International Science and Engineering Fair and the GENIUS Olympiad. At some Terra Fairs, additional middle and high school students represent their regional fair at state and national competitions such as the Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge, New York State Science Congress, and the Stockholm Junior Water Prize.

Special awards

Many sponsors provide Special Awards for every Terra Fair. Each Terra Fair also secures its own local sponsors of additional awards and scholarships, so be sure to check YOUR FAIR’S website!

International Journal of High School Research

High School students in Senior RED Division who receive an award at a Terra Fair may submit their research for possible publication in the International Journal of High School Research. Their work will, of course, go through the appropriate review and acceptance procedures before publication is approved. Please follow the instructions exactly on the journal’s website.
