CNY STEM Hub is a regional branch of the Empire State STEM Learning Network, striving to design and incubate educational models of excellence to empower all PK-20 students to excel in a rapidly changing world.

Over the next few months, CNY STEM Hub is offering a number of opportunities to students including a variety of scholarships to apply for and the STEM Scholar Connection 2019 event; an opportunity for college students to network with local STEM employers.

The CNY STEM Scholars Program partners with SRC Inc., King +King, Inficon, the CNY STEM Hub, and Partners for Education and Business to provide 3 different scholarships for high school seniors entering college in Fall 2019. More details can be found on the CNY STEM Scholarship flyer. The application deadline for all of the scholarships is March 1, 2019.

On January 3, 2019 CNY STEM Hub is presenting the STEM Scholar Connection 2019. This is an opportunity for college students to engage with other STEM students and network with STEM employers. The event will take place at SRC Inc, at 7502 Round Pond Road, in North Syracuse. Parking is free and lunch will be provided!

The event will run from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm and will include a number of sessions. These sessions run concurrently and will include Speed Interviews for college juniors and seniors, Local STEM Companies HR Panels, Workshops on resume building, and how to stand out on an application, and Speed Networking with STEM employers.
